North Highlands ‘SPRINGLE’ – a Spring Mingle coffee morning to help you share ideas and network with attractions, accommodation and activity providers

This is your chance to get up to speed for the main tourism season.  We all know that many visitors travelling to the North Highlands are either touring or are hub based, travelling out daily from one location to see the sights often over major distances. Are you sure that you know the best places to direct them to and where to stop along the way? What’s more do you have new staff on board this season who also need to be able to sell the area.

Adding this extra value to a visitor’s experience not only encourages positive feedback about your business but also about the area and this event provides an excellent opportunity to gather the information you need in one stop over a cup of coffee.

This informal tourism networking event, being organised by North Highland Tourism, in conjunction with the Federation of Small Businesses and supported by Business Gateway, the European Community Highland LEADER 2007 – 2013 Programme and Highland Council, will help you to learn more about the area and enabling your tourism business to shine in 2012 and beyond.

There will be no formal presentations but a series of areas where you can meet and network. The areas will be Nature & Wildlife, History, Heritage and Culture, Food and Drink and Active and Adventure. From this session you will have the chance to:-

As an accommodation provider:

  • get the latest information on attractions across the North Highlands – find out what’s new for 2012, opening times, events etc.
  • meet activity providers so you can put together new packages for visitors
  • gather suggested itineraries and events guide  
  • find out how to follow up the opportunity with a visit to sites over the next few weeks

As an attraction:

  • bring your leaflets and swap leaflets free of charge
  • meet accommodation providers and others that can promote your site
  • gather feedback on what visitors to local accommodation say about your site

As an activity provider:

  • promote new 2012 services and features
  • meet accommodation providers who can promote your business to visitors
  • bring your leaflets and swap leaflets free of charge

Whether you are a small bed and breakfast, visitor attraction, activity or self catering business or hotel there is plenty you will take away from this informal event.
